Privacy Notice
Lakeside Bazar ("we") is responsible for the personal data you share with us, in accordance with Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
What we collect
Name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email, town and optional address; for sellers, a photo of an official ID (INE or passport) and, for items over $10,000 MXN, ownership documents (invoices, papers); your bids, listings and purchase history.
Why we use it
To verify your identity, run auctions, prevent fraud, contact you to schedule pickup and delivery, collect cash on delivery and pay sellers. Secondary use: sending you news about the site, which you can refuse at any time.
Who can see it
Other users only see an anonymized bidder name. ID photos and ownership documents are stored privately and only our administration team can view them. We do not sell your data. We only share it when required by law.
How long we keep it
While your account is active and for the time required by tax and legal obligations. Identity documents are deleted when no longer needed.
Your ARCO rights
You may Access, Rectify, Cancel or Oppose the use of your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing general@lakesidebazar.com. We will respond within 20 business days.
Changes
Any changes to this notice will be published on this page.
